Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
Part of me truly living, and enjoying my life to the fullest is sharing my knowledge and experience, and working with you to enhance your life so that you can really live it. Together we can make this journey truly wonderful.
You Deserve It!
The first thing I tell people I work with is that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is a way out of the fatigue, and the exhaustion, and the overwhelming sense of just feeling bad. You are not stuck in quicksand with no way out, even if it feels that way sometimes. I know this because I was once in your same boat, wildly trying to bail my way out with a thimble, instead of the giant bucket of knowledge I really needed. Once I got that proverbial bucket, my health changed, my energy levels changed, my life changed. My goal is to help empower you to make the right choices for yourself so that you can have the best life you can, because you deserve it!
My Final Straw
My journey to this place and career as aCertified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach started way before I graduated from training, even before I knew what a Integrative Nutrition Health Coach even was. It started many years ago just before 2006 when I was working a high-stress job in law enforcement (one I had for over twenty years), and traveling constantly from Montana to Florida to help my father, who at the time was suffering from debilitating Alzheimer’s. I was emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and just completely out of balance. I had Stage 3 Adrenal Fatigue, and did not even want to get out of bed. But I did. I went to work and I did Crossfit five to six days a week as a stress relief, but I was actually doing more damage to myself. I ate in a way that was fast, easy and unhealthy, and it was actually draining me and making me more exhausted than it was fueling me.
It was in 2006 that I woke up from a dead sleep with my heart rate so fast I thought I was having a heart attack. That was it. That was the final straw. I could not live in this stressful way anymore, unable to really function, living outside of my body and in a fog.
It was not a fast change to healthfulness. Over time I was on countless meds, saw every type of doctor you could think of, holistic or traditional, naturopaths, and even a nutritionist at the farmer’s market. Yes, as crazy as that sounds it’s the random woman at the farmer’s market that helped change my life. She showed me that nutrition could help heal you. That what you ate greatly affected your quality of life and could even lessen daily pain and fatigue. Slowly I began to research and study and change how I lived, and ate and I saw an immense change. I finally got the proper testing and learned about my Adrenal Fatigue and Autoimmune Disorders and eventually found the right approach for me that not only gave me my energy and my body back, it gave me my life back! Now I bike, downhill ski, run 5ks, and do mud run events without the complete body shut down I would get before.
The whole time I had been finding the way to holistically heal myself (and by “holistically” I mean as a whole. Encompassing everything, not just hippie voodoo – but traditional doctors as well as a new way of approaching diet and exercise) I had been wishing there were someone there to guide me through this process. And that is why I am where I am today! I want to help you empower yourself with the knowledge you need to take steps in the right direction so that you can feel good again. So that you can have a fulfilling life again! The transformation I see in myself, and my clients inside and out is so amazing, and rewarding that I know I am on the right path. I know that your life is worth making it great. It’s worth everything.

Most of us just exist.” Part of me truly living, and enjoying my life to the fullest is sharing my knowledge and experience, and working with you to enhance your life so that you can really live it.
